- STAY CONSISTENT.
You need to keep going NO MATTER WHAT circumstance tries to stop you from staying on path. Getting in the BEST shape of your life is NOT going to appear overnight nor ever will. You can’t expect to workout for one week, quit the next week, come back a few months later and expect to see results. That isn’t how it works. Once you put your damn excuses away, you’ll be surprised on what you can accomplish in life.
2. GET UNCOMFORTABLE.
This is NOT going to be a journey of being in your comfort zone. If you truly want to SUCCEED with your goals, you need to understand that there are no shortcuts but only putting in hard work and being consistent. You will need to develop a daily mental discipline to staying commited to your goal despite the hurdles that will occur. All because you go through challenges does not mean you give up on yourself. EVER. You are better that that!
3. STOP COMPARING YOUR BODY.
You will not have much success on your journey if all you do is constantly look at the body of other individuals to see how you can replicate their body. You have no idea how long it took for them to accomplish their physique, how much of it is genetics, and in general……WHO CARES what someone else has?!!? Focusing on yourself and learning how you can improve daily to become better is what matters.
4. PUT IN THE WORK WHETHER YOU WANT TO OR NOT.
There will be days that you don’t feel like working out, and the internal voices in your head will want you to quit and go back to your old habits. NO. Absolutely NOT. You can take control of the negative thoughts that arise, tune them out, and keep pushing foward. You will be setting yourself up for dissapointment if you let fear, worry, self-doubt, or anything creep up in your mind. They are merely voices that you need to ignore. You are a WINNER and need to know that every single day it is up to you to take charge of everything you do. Nothing wonderful comes from being complacent and settling for mediocrity. GET TO WORK.
